I have gotten rave reviews from the Coaches regarding our swimmers and divers performances this past weekend at the District 5 Championship meet! We will have 19 kids continue you on into the Regional Meet next weekend on Saturday, October 31,2020. Divers will be diving on Wednesday, October 28, 2020. We have set up a SignUpGenius for Goody Bag Items. We will have a very large District team of 38 kids this year! We are asking for donations to the goody bags. Each family will only need to bring 8-12 items. They could be granola bars, playing cards, bouncy balls, oranges and bananas. We simply would like to stuff the bags full for our amazing swimmers! Encouraging words are amazing! Use your imagination!

Also we will be sending out a Sign up Genius for Senior Week! This is a tradition where we used to feed our seniors lunch everyday of the week. Well with Covid-19, some seniors are virtual and lunch is now at the end of the day. SOOO…. We have specified a theme for each day of the week for next week, October 26-30. We only need 17 of each item. Check out the list and see where you can donate. This is an awesome tradition that allows our Seniors to be recognized by their classmates and know that we care very much about them! This year is flying by fast and they will be graduating before we know it!!

Last but not least, our deadline for the Super Bowl applications has been extended to October 30,2020. If you have not filled out the application for your free ticket to the Super Bowl, please do this asap. We want as many volunteers as possible so that we can make our budget this year!! The applications can be found in the documents section above. Please review the Photo requirements as well.

Thank you to all the parents who have donated to this great event so far. If you haven’t donated and you would like to, we would very happy to have any monetary donation that you can afford. So far there have only been 6 kids out of the 49 on our entire team that have paid the $45 that we asked for last week. These funds are needed to help us continue our traditions for the rest of the season from now until the State Championship Meet. We would very much appreciate if you could send in the $45 as soon as possible.

We are having our pictures taken for the ELHS Swim & Dive Yearbook! This will be done on Tuesday, October 13, 2020 at 1:30pm. Please let us know if you cannot make it as we are trying to accommodate for the team picture! You will get a professional high resolution digital photo with your donation so that you may take it to your favorite photo producer. The ELHS Swim & Dive Booster Club is asking for a $45 per swimmer donation. Our fundraising is on the low side this year due to Covid. We are not asking you to purchase cookies or a pretty pop-a-dot bag. We would like to humbly and simply ask for a small monetary donation so that we can finish out the year as budgeted! Thank you again for your amazing support!!
