This upcoming week we will be hosting our first HOME MEET!! We are looking forward to a great meet! I have created a Sign-up-Genius for volunteering. Please review and see how you can help! We are working hard on the Booster Club dues. If you missed the opportunity to order by last Friday’s deadline, do not worry, please fill out the Booster attached below and get it in by tomorrow’s practive. We have to order all our t shirts, caps etc. as soon as possible so our swimmers will have them asap!!

We are having a meet on Wednesday, September 2, 2020. This is an intramural meet that helps the coaches identify strengths in your swimmer. Participation in this meet is Mandantory. The will be held at the North Pinellas YMCA. Warm-ups are at 2pm. Meet starts at 3pm.

We have limited positions available for timers. The first 6 parents that volunteer will be allowed on deck. All Volunteers must wear a mask and sign the YMCA electronic waiver. Instructions for the waiver is located in the documents section of TeamPages.

Senior Swimmers, please send your favorite picture of yourself, preferably at the pool to Deanna TseTsekas. dtsetsekas@suncoastymca.org If you cannot get a picture to her by September 2nd at the meet, she will take your picture there.

Good Morning All!

The new date for our Meet & Greet is September 19, 2020 @ 12 (Noon).

Location: 3000 Leprechaun Lane, Palm Harbor, FL

This is for Athlete’s Only! Please enter the pool deck by going around the side of the house. Wear your bathing suit, bring a chair, towel and whatever you may need to swim.

Please bring a prepackaged snack to share with all. the ELHS Swim & Dive Booster Club will be providing beverages.

Good Evening Parents and Swimmers!

I hope this email finds you all safe and healthy!

So the first day of practice came and went! August 24th, 2020, without too much hullaballoo!! Practice Schedule is as follows:

High School only: 2-3pm
High School/PYP: 3-5pm
YMCA PYP Bronze – Gold Groups: 5-6pm
Middle School/High School PYP 6-7:30pm

Coach Rob will decide which groups your child will go into. I have attached a pdf that has instructions about how to sign the waiver from the YMCA.This must be signed asap. I believe hard copies of the waiver were handed out today as well.

Swimmers who have not been cleared yet may still swim if they bring their paperwork to practice and show Coach Rob that they have completed it. Coach will allow you to swim once he can see that your paperwork is complete. We have re-scheduled our Meet and Greet! It is Saturday, September 19, 2020. I will send out another announcement separately with the attached flyer.

I have attached the Team Schedule for the year. Our Senior Night will be on September 16th, 2020. This is a special meet where the team acknowledges all of our graduating Seniors for 2020-2021. Please stay tuned for more information to follow regarding this very special event.

There is a lot going on and I hope that all of your children are adjusting to their new schedules swimmingly :)
