Tomorrow is a very special meet as we will be acknowledging our graduating Senior Swimmers! This is our final home meet of the season! There is alot going on tomorrow so please read carefully:

WHY: To swim our hearts out!!

All swimmers are to report to our Senior Host House, the Gamboa Family, at 2:30. The food will be catered by Johnny Grits of Tarpon Springs who were very gracious to provide food for us on a very short notice. If you haven’t been there you should go! they have the best breakfast I’ve ever had!!
Next, swimmers will go directly to the pool for warm-ups. We will be warming up and then the meet will start. Senior Parents and family may go to the playground side of the pool at 6:30 pm for the Senior Introductions. Senior Introductions will begin right after the 50 Freestyle. Senior Parents, please check out the volunteer options on the SignUpGenius. Grab a spot so that you can be allowed on deck throughout the meet.

In other exciting news, we are going to be having a Parent Zoom Meeting on Thursday night October 8, 2020 at 7:30pm. Anyone who would like to be a part of the Booster Club Board of Directors next year, please attend. This will be my final year on the Board as well as our Sectetary Deanna. There will be two spots available for election. We will be discussing the chain of events starting with the Eagle Invite, Districts, Regionals and the State Championship meet among other topics as well. Don’t miss it!!

Then we had the PCAC, Pinellas County Athletic Conference, The Girls came in 6th overall and the Boys came in 4 overall!! There were many best times that were swam and the meet was an overall success!!

Moving forward to our meet on Wednesday this week September 30, 2020:

Our next and last home meet on Monday, October 5th 2020, will also be our Senior Meet where we all will acknowledge our graduating Seniors. All swimmers need to report to the North Pinellas YMCA on Friday to sign the Banners. We are also looking for a host for this years Senior Roast. If you are interested in hosting this event, please text me at (727) 967-2456. This will happen on Monday 2:30-4:30. We are working on catering for the event. Stay tuned for more information regarding this meet for locations and times.

Parents please get your forms in for the Super Bowl as soon as possible! This is our only fundraising event and we need all hands on deck. The photo requirements information can be found in the documents section of Teampages above. I have attached the FBI Clearance form for you to fill out and send directly to chelmstetter@legends.net . Cathy Helmstetter is the Legends coordinator for all of the Buccaneer Games and events held at the Raymond James Stadium. The form will have your personal information and It will need to be emailed directly to Cathy for privacy purposes. Thank you all for your support!!

We will need drink and snack donations for the upcoming meets. These items are given to the swimmers. We also have them for sale during our home meets for parents who are in the cars. There will be a remind that tells you who to contact if you need a refreshment on the day of the meet.
